February is the last winter month. Spring is just around the corner but we are still in a mood for poetry... about WINTER. 

We asked You to write about discovering winter with your 5 senses.

Winter looks for you like a white snowman and footprints on the snow.
Winter sounds for you like beautiful carols and crackling ice.
Winter tastes for you like hot chocolate and cold ice.
Winter smells for you like a christmas tree and hot cocoa.
Winter feels for you like soft mittens and a frosty morning.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day !

Walentynki to święto miłości i przyjaźni. W tym dniu chcemy okazać nasze uczucia do bliskich nam osób. Jak co roku w naszej szkole działała Walentynkowa Poczta. 

Na lekcjach wykonywaliśmy listy dla przyjaciół ze szkoły, które wrzucaliśmy do walentynkowej skrzynki. 

14 lutego wszystkie listy zostały doręczone do adresatów.

Let it snow !

Do you like winter ? Yes, we know… it’s cold and freezing but... it’s also a lot of fun !

Our rule is: 

Every season is a good season to practise your English outside the class !

What to do in winter ? We’ve got some ideas …

Build a snowman ! (Don’t forget a carrot nose.)

Go sledding, skating or skiing !

Make a snow angel ! 

Have a snowball fight !

To enjoy the winter don't forget to wear right clothes.

Kontynuacją naszych spotkań z Ameryką był szkolny konkurs wiedzy o Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki. 

Uczniowie klas 4, 5 i 6 zmierzyli się z pytaniami na temat geografii , kultury i historii tego kraju.

Tastes of Christmas

 Christmas is coming.. and there's a lot of preparations.

Baking gingerbread cookies is our favourite one. 

On Wednesday students from classes 5a and 5b prepared some delicious cookies.

Let's start with the recipe. Our experts will show you how to make perfect gingerbread cookies. 

Chef  Jasiek rolling the dough is the funniest moment !

Fortunately, Ewa came with the help.

Decorating cookies is the best part !!! 

You can play with colourful  icing, sprinkles and pearls.

Look at the cookies ... they look amazing !!!

Maybe you will make the cookies with your family.

Dream catchers. Łapacze snów - wyniki konkursu.

Kochani !!!

Nadszedł oczekiwany niecierpliwie przez was moment czyli ogłoszenie wyników na najpiękniejszy łapacz snów. Musimy przyznać, że to zadanie troszkę nas przerosło... bo trudno nazwać jeden z nich najpiękniejszym.

Po prostu zaskoczyliście nas swoją pomysłowością, oryginalnością i poczuciem estetyki. Każdy z waszych łapaczy snów jest piękny i ciekawy. Te, które wybraliśmy po burzliwych naradach, zasięgnięciu wielu opinii, najbardziej przykuły naszą uwagę. Oto wyniki:

AMERICAN DAY

The celebration of American Day was a great event in the school, showing all kinds of your talents like drama, singing, dancing and craft work. 

 That was not only a culture and history lesson but also lots of fun and entertainment. Enjoy watching pictures from that marvellous day !

In the first part of event, Native American heritage was presented starting with two Native American legends prepared by classes 4a and 4b.

Class 4a with Native American legend: "How the coyote got his cunning".

 Class 4b with Native American legend "How fire stayed with Man".

Let's meet two famous Native Americans – Pocahontas and Squato.

The story of Squanto - the Indian who helped Pilgrims survive hardships 

on a new land - class 6a. 

First Thanksgiving

On the table - squash, beans and corn - three basic american plants.

In the second part of American Day we were taken into a cowboys' world.  

Time for a cowboy dance !!!

The stories from the Wild West are full of legendary cowboys. One of them was Pecos Bill. Class 5a presents his amazing adventures.
