AMERICAN DAY

The celebration of American Day was a great event in the school, showing all kinds of your talents like drama, singing, dancing and craft work. 
 That was not only a culture and history lesson but also lots of fun and entertainment. Enjoy watching pictures from that marvellous day !

In the first part of event, Native American heritage was presented starting with two Native American legends prepared by classes 4a and 4b.

Class 4a with Native American legend: "How the coyote got his cunning".

Let's meet two famous Native Americans – Pocahontas and Squato.

The story of Squanto - the Indian who helped Pilgrims survive hardships 
on a new land - class 6a.

On the table - squash, beans and corn - three basic american plants.




In the second part of American Day we were taken into a cowboys' world.  

Time for a cowboy dance !!!

The stories from the Wild West are full of legendary cowboys. One of them was Pecos Bill. Class 5a presents his amazing adventures.
